A Letter of Gratitude as We Celebrate 40 Years
Forty years ago today, on July 28, 1986, my father, Ronald W. Rogé, founded R.W. Rogé & Company with a simple belief: financial advice should begin with the client’s best interests.
Over the past four decades, the financial planning profession has changed tremendously. Markets have risen and fallen. Technology has transformed the way we communicate and invest. Tax laws have evolved. Entire industries have come and gone. Yet through all of those changes, one thing has remained constant: the privilege of helping people make thoughtful financial decisions during some of the most important moments of their lives.
We’ve celebrated retirements, welcomed new generations of families, helped clients navigate periods of uncertainty, and stood beside them through life’s milestones. Those relationships have always been the most rewarding part of what we do.
Earlier this year, we had the opportunity to celebrate our 40th anniversary with some of our clients, professional partners, team members, and friends. While the evening recognized an important milestone for our firm, it was also a reminder that none of it would have been possible without the trust our clients have placed in us over the years. That trust is something we never take for granted.
Every time someone chooses our firm, they are placing their confidence in our team to help guide some of the most important financial decisions they will ever make. It is a responsibility we approach with humility, care, and a commitment to act in their best interest.
I’m also incredibly grateful for the people who have helped shape R.W. Rogé & Company along the way. Our dedicated team, both past and present, has played an important role in building the culture our clients experience today. Likewise, our professional partners have helped us better serve the families who place their confidence in us.
As we celebrate this anniversary, we are proud of what has been built over the past 40 years, but we’re even more excited about what lies ahead. Our mission remains the same as it was in 1986: helping clients make informed financial decisions with confidence while providing thoughtful guidance through every stage of life.
To our clients, thank you for allowing us to be part of your family’s journey. Your trust has shaped our history, and it continues to inspire our future.
On behalf of everyone at R.W. Rogé & Company, thank you for being part of the first 40 years. We look forward to serving you for many years to come.
With gratitude,

Steven M. Rogé, MBA, CFP®, CAP®, AIF®
Chief Investment Officer & CEO
