We’re excited to announce our participation in Flexible Arena’s Puck Partners program. Located in Hauppauge, New York, the Flexible Arena is an outdoor rink located behind Flexible IT, our trusted technology partner. Over the years, their team has helped support our own technology infrastructure, so it’s especially meaningful for us to support a program they’ve created for the community.
Flexible Arena was originally created during the COVID-19 pandemic as a way for players to safely access outdoor ice time. Since then, it has grown into a valuable community resource that provides free rink access during both winter and summer seasons for youth programs, adult leagues, first responders, and local organizations.
Anyone familiar with hockey knows it can be one of the more expensive sports for families. By removing the cost of ice time, Flexible Arena helps ensure that more players have the opportunity to develop their skills, stay active, and enjoy the game.
The Puck Partners program allows local businesses to supply the hockey pucks that are used every day during practices, games, and training sessions at the rink. Instead of traditional advertising that simply sits on the sidelines, these pucks become part of the game itself – passed passed, shot, and used across the ice throughout the day.
Programs like this reflect the kind of community spirit that makes Long Island special, and we’re grateful to partner with organizations that are working to create opportunities for families and young athletes.
