Director of Business Development Position

Our wealth management firm is offering a ground floor opportunity for an experienced high net worth business development person to work with a nationally recognized fee-only wealth management firm, located on Long Island, (about 50 miles from New York City), with clients in 17 States. The Company has grown over the past 21 years primarily through client referrals and recognition in the press and media.

Candidate will report to senior management and will be responsible for bringing in new business and building the firms assets under management.

Our vision for this candidate is to clearly communicate our expertise, uniqueness and value proposition to the public and advisor community; in doing so bring qualified prospects to our office. The candidate should be experienced in delivering presentations to high net worth individuals, and have the capability of responding to requests for proposals from institutions.

The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years relevant business development experience, a Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Economics or Finance and a Series (7 or 6) and Series 63 licenses, outstanding interpersonal, written and oral presentation skills. Candidate must be a proactive, self managed and a self-starter who can think creatively about finding prospective clients for our firm’s offerings.

A competitive base salary and milestone bonus system are offered. Salary will be based on the candidate’s experience.
